The parties have agreed that the pre-packaging procedure will be conducted, ie the sale of the operating company to the entity that will continue its activities.
– The applicant, in this case the board of directors of the company "Port Lotniczy Radom", indicated that PPL was the real estate owner, the employees and the possible liabilities – explains Radom Radosław Witkowski. In this way, agent mediation and often long-term liquidation procedures are avoided.
Up to now, this city was the only owner of the airport. The project has absorbed around 120 million PLN. The local government sought financial support for years, and for months it negotiated with the state enterprise "Porty Lotnicze".
Despite the change of the director, one thing will not change. As before, the co-host of the airport will be the army. This is guaranteed by a contract negotiated between the army and the Ministry of Infrastructure.
By the end of the year, investments of half a billion zlotys should begin at the airport. According to the work schedule, the following will be extended: track. Plans also include the construction of parking decks.
The first flights from Radom airport are planned for spring 2020.
