Will the annual withdrawal of one hour watches and their progress be useless throughout the European Union? For now, the European Commission wants to know the opinion of the citizens of the Union about it – and gives everyone the opportunity to participate in a special investigation. It's so popular that … it usually does not work.

The European Commission survey is available here. It is translated into all valid languages ​​in EU countries, including, of course, Polish. It is not so easy to fill it – the interest is so huge that only the message seems to indicate that the site is temporarily unavailable.

However, there will be plenty of opportunities to try it. The survey will be available on the Commission's website before 16 August.

In February, the European Parliament decided that the transition from summer to winter and vice versa deserved a "thorough analysis". After the European Parliament resolution, the European Commission has therefore looked into the matter. This does not exclude that EU regulations change here. A step in this direction can be the results of an online survey

The change of weather is valid in almost all European countries. The exceptions are Iceland, Belarus and Russia. In the last country, the change of time was abandoned in 2014.

In Poland, the change of time has been in effect since the late 1970s. Many times, however, ideas have emerged to abandon the division of time in winter and in summer. In March 2018, he even submitted a bill in this case to the Sejm. For the moment, however, work on this topic has not come out of the parliamentary committee.
