Goodbye sad. Deutsche Messe AG announced today the resignation of the organization of the future markets of CEBIT. One of the world's most famous technological events disappears from the calendar and it is likely that even when it will come back. The reasons for the "death" of the event are however understandable and the organizers have already announced it for some time.

This year 's CEBIT was unfortunately the last in the history of the markets, which began in 1970. Deutsche Messe AG has proclaimed that the event, scheduled for June next year, will not be the only one. will unfortunately not take place, which is explained a significant and decreasing number of exhibitors and visitors. This year's change in the organization of the event, aimed at making it more attractive, will not help.

CEBIT

At the time of the disappearance of CEBIT, Deutsche Messe AG also intends to develop the events of Hannover Messe, which will in turn take over the solution of the well-known markets. In this case, however, we are talking about demonstrations, meetings and panels dealing with industrial solutions. It includes artificial intelligence, robots, economic platforms, concept of modernization of production or cooperation between various entities.

The "death" of the CEBIT market means that a big event will be dedicated to the technology market in Europe. Of course, Mobile World Congress will stay, even if it focuses on mobile devices rather than hardware. Another thing is that the timing of the German markets will not be the best, as a much larger and more prestigious Computex will start soon. It is not surprising that exhibitors have focused on these. Let's hope that CEBIT will have a similar event and that Europe will have its competitor for the aforementioned US Computex and CES markets.
