The law on housewives signed by the president

The circle of rural housewives must be a voluntary social organization of rural residents actively working for rural communities. The president has signed a law defining the rules for the creation of such circles.

The law aims to give legal personality to rural housewife circles, guaranteeing them the possibility of registering quickly and supporting their activities in favor of the development of entrepreneurship in the rural areas. rural areas and the culture of folklore and Polish tradition.

According to the Chancellery of the President, rural women are volunteers, independent of government administration and local government units, and constitute an autonomous social organization of rural residents. It must represent the interests and act to improve the social and professional situation of rural women and their families, as well as to support the development of rural areas.

By law, a circle can be used by ten people. The National Register of Rural Housemaids will be managed by the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture. At the moment of entering this register, the circle of rural housewives acquires legal personality.

A circle of rural housewives may be located in a village. This limitation will not apply to the wheels of rural housewives acting on the basis of the regulations in force.

A member of the circle of rural housewives may be anyone who has reached the age of 18 and whose place of residence is a village in which the circle is active. At the same time, the law stipulates that, with the agreement of the legal representatives, the activities of the rural housewives' club may also be attended by persons of 13 years of age, who may also create community organizations. young people and children supporting the goals of the circle.

The President of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture, in cooperation with the Government Plenipotentiary for Small and Medium Enterprises, will oversee the activities of the wheel.

The law sets a maximum limit to the state budget for financial assistance to housewives for the execution of their tasks in 2018, up to 90 million zlotys.
