Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki signed the resolution on the "Bridges for the Regions" program. The program involves the construction of passages in tremor shafts administered by the autonomous governments (and thus voices of the voivodship, the poviat and the municipality). The decision on the construction belongs to the self-government
21 priority investments
The Minister of Investment and Development Jerzy Kwieciski indicates the priorities in the opinion of the government and the places where bridges should be created.
For example, the bridges between Jabonn and with omiankami, Konstancin-Jeziorn and Karczew or Kazimierz Dolny and Janowiec on Wile, a bridge at the height of Brodnica on the Warta or a combination of Oborniki lskich of Mikinia on the # 39; Oder. Together, these priority bridges are 21 in number, mainly on Wile, Oder and Warta. The fund, however, is not limited to the places indicated – the program must be open to all local governments
Billions of co-financing
The government will allocate 2.3 billion zlotys to support local governments in investments in the passages. The program "Bridges for the regions" will last until 2025. In this framework, the autonomous governments must provide at least 20% of the value of the investment and 80% of the value are only funds.
As Mateusz Morawiecki says, the program is aimed at "small areas and poviats". ". According to the Prime Minister, it is the largest bridge building program in Poland. However, it does not specify the period of time to which it refers – reconstruction of war damage after World War II was probably more important (compared to the possibility of state government and local governments)
