Municipalities will enter into contracts with residential investors and provide lists of people interested in renting available apartments. From 2019, the system of rent subsidies for the first tenants of apartments and apartments newly built in buildings subject to revitalization will be launched as part of the cooperation between investors and municipalities. The municipality will be responsible for recruiting tenants. The rent subsidy program has two main objectives: social and investment. The first is an aid for households with difficulties in the need for independent housing, the second – an incentive to implement investments consisting of the construction of apartments for rent.
