Two days before the festival Pol & # 39; Rock, its organizer, Jurek Owsiak, was summoned to the Wrocław District Court to respond to the use of "vulgarly vulgar words" at the meeting last year. The report was made by Piotr Wielgucki – a blogger who fought Owsiak for years and lost several thousand zlotys due to the lost lawsuits.
Defender Jurek Owsiak argued that a conviction would be a precedent because the use of obscene words by the authors and a rich tradition. – The artistic message is what it is and no one is going to court for this reason – he said
– I am sorry for the police that you have to deal with such things with l & # 39; State. I would like the police in this country to handle serious business – said Owsiak himself, addressing the police who acted as the prosecutor in the case.
Judge Izabella Gabriel dropped the lawsuit against Owsiak because the act he committed was not socially harmful.
