Not everyone knows that only 200 PLN arrears of a creditor and 30 days after the deadline for payment to be in the register debtors. – The consequence of non-payment is the registration in the registry, which limits the possibility of signing another contract for the phone, and also blocks access to loans, installment purchases and many other services. Companies check with BIG with whom they deal, and the indebted customer does not inspire confidence – says Sławomir Grzelczak, CEO of BIG InfoMonitor.

As he adds, the debtor does not have to rely on the company in which he has a debt. He will sign a subscription contract in other telecoms provided that he pays a large amount of money in advance. The choice of telecommunications offers will therefore be limited to prepaid services, and there is no question of buying a phone or tablet with a payment on time.

Long telecommunications are not just unpaid bills for phone calls or surfing the Internet, nor penalties for breaking the contract. Debtors are also those who have overestimated their financial capacity and their fraud. They take some expensive calls and sometimes several operators simultaneously, without even assuming that they will pay for them. The lost identity card also goes to the registry. Unfortunately, not everyone is sorting the missing documents into the restricted document system that operators have access to. Information on lost or stolen evidence that is only disclosed to the police or the municipal office is not sufficient and is not immediately available to banks and other businesses or institutions.

Often, grandparents who have signed a telephone subscription contract on behalf of their grandson. Because he has stopped paying bills, the debtor is the person whose signature is on the contract. In addition, various random situations contribute to subscription debts – sickness or loss of regular income.
