A two-day European Council meeting on the selection of the most important posts in the EU institutions will begin on Thursday. The purpose of the Community's strategic objectives for 2019-2024 will also be addressed.

The President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, was preceded by telephone conversations with leaders of all EU countries. In Poland, he spoke with Mateusz Morawiecki.
According to the spokesman of the government, Piotr Mueller, the Prime Minister stressed during the conversation the need to choose such candidates for the highest positions, who will focus on programming issues concerning Poland.
– The Prime Minister discussed the issue of fair competition rules in the European market, including the Polish transport sector, the dual quality of products, the extension of subsidies to farmers, energy security issues and the migration policy. The Prime Minister also stressed the need to maintain a geographical balance in the composition of EU posts, said Piotr Mueller during an interview with the news radio agency.
Jadwiga Emilewicz for the positions she would like to occupy for Poland
As part of Polsat News' Events and Opinions program, the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology, Jadwiga Emilewicz, has set out her reflections on the areas of EU activity that the Poland should ask the European Commission.
