Two cars collided on Thursday afternoon at Zawiszy Square. One is the unmarked police car of the Central Bureau of Police Investigations. Two policemen were transported to the hospital. We received the first information and photos on Contact 24.

The event took place after 15:00 on Zawiszy Square.

– An anonymous police station of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBŚP) took part in the incident. The first findings of police officers working on the site show that the car was at the signal – said Małgorzata Wersocka of the press team of the Warsaw Metropolitan Police Department.

– Two cars – Volvo and Toyota took part in the collision. Toyota is an unmarked CBŚP car. As a result of the collision, two people driving a Toyota went to the hospital. Both are policemen, "said Wersocka.

As the policewoman added, the causes of the incident are not yet known. Police determine if they should be classified as an accident or collision.

The collision caused difficulties for drivers at Aleje Jerozolimskie towards Dworzec Zachodni. – From 18:30, the traffic is fluid – informs Wersocka.
