English-language news stations owned by state broadcasters include, among others, Russia (RT), France (France 24), China (CGTN, CNC World), Iran (Press TV), Malaysia (Bernama News Channel), Pakistan (PTV News), Qatar (Al-Jazeera English), Germany (DW) and Turkey (TRT World). The common chain also has Venezuela, Cuba, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Uruguay and Bolivia (Telesur English).
