PO and Nowoczesna will announce Monday morning the intention to create a "Citizen Coalition" in Wroclaw and to issue a joint candidate for the president of the city – PAP informally learned from the deputies of the opposition of Lower Silesia. According to this information, the candidate will not be Kazimierz M. Ujazdowski

On Monday, the name of a new presidential candidate will not be unveiled – the PAP has learned from people who know the backstage of the PO and Nowoczesna

Grzegorz Schetyna and Katarzyna Lubnauer are to take care of the creation of the "Civic Coalition" in the elections to the regional council of the province and the city council, as well as the resignation of the OP of the candidacy of Ujazdowski.

The Schetyna and Lubnauer Conferences will take place Monday at 9 in Plac Solny Wrocław

That he was Ujazdowski, in the past, among other PiS Vice President, will be the platform's candidate for the President Wroclaw Schetyna announced in April. His decision also means that the departure will not be previously indicated as a substitute candidate for the OP and Professor of Oncology, Alicja Chybicka.

According to unofficial information obtained from the opposition politicians in Lower Silesia, the dismantling of the second candidate is a poll of Ujazdowski. in Wroclaw.

They point out that the candidate for the second round of elections is: the United right candidate, Miroslaw Stachowiak-Różecka, and a close associate of the current Wroclaw Governor Rafał Dutkiewicz – Jacek Sutryk. Ujazdowski is the third in this poll and – as the PAP interlocutors point out – in this situation, Schetyna made the decision to withdraw his candidacy

According to PAP sources, he is still uncertain who will be the candidate of the OP and Nowoczesna Civic Coalition – Jacek Sutryk, supported by Nowoczesna (also an association of the European Union of Democrats, which was founded by, inter alia, two deputies of the OP: Jacek Protasiewicz and Michał Kamiński), or a member of Nowoczesna Michał Jaros .

Jacek Sutryk is currently the presidential candidate of Wroclaw, supported by Nowoczesna; Earlier, however, the party's leadership recommended Jaros's candidacy.

"The negotiations are not over yet, in my opinion, no name will fall tomorrow," said one of the deputies of Wroclaw. Another added: "Yesterday was like this: the negotiations with Jaros and the negotiations with the Sutra were very good." "If I had to estimate the odds, it would be 9: 1 for Jaros" – PAP emphasizes

The sources of the PAP recognize however that the negotiations are shattering on the composition of the electoral lists, because the Platform wants to have a decisive vote on their distribution.

Wrocław is the only city where the PO and Nowoczesna failed to form the "Civic Coalition".

The portals of the RP, Fakt24.pl, Gazetawroclawska.pl, also provided information on this subject.
