Police announced that a mother from Illinois had her daughters climb into an inflatable pool over their SUVs

Jennifer Jeanus Yeager, 49, of Dixon, went to a friend's house on Tuesday afternoon to blow up a blue inflatable pool, according to Dixon police.

On the way home, the ministry said that she had her daughters sit in the pool above the car to prevent her from flying away.

Someone saw the two children at the top of the car and reported it to the police, who stopped the vehicle.

Yeager has been charged with two counts of endangering the health or life of a child and two counts of reckless conduct. She was also cited for failing to board a passenger aged 8 to under 16 years old.
