Colorado police announced Wednesday that she was interrupting a nearly two-month search in a landfill for the body of Kelsey Berreth, allegedly killed by her fiance, Patrick Frazee.
On February 25, the Woodland Park Police Service began its search by digging a deep lot in Midway Landfill, in the town of Fountain. The police did not find any bones, teeth or other DNA remains of the old mother and the flight instructor. The Colorado Bureau of Investigations contacted Waste Management in January about possible research, reported ABC 7 Denver.

Frazee, 32, is charged with the murder of the mother of her 29-year-old child. During a preliminary hearing on February 19, prosecutors alleged that Frazee beat Berreth to death with a baseball bat at home, set her body on fire, and then used a tote to dispose of her remains. in the dump or in a nearby river ABC 7 Denver reported.
Frazee's girlfriend, Krystal Lee Kenney, admitted to witnessing Frazee burning Berreth's body, investigators said. Kenney told police that Frazee had repeatedly asked her to murder Berreth and then demanded that she come to Colorado to help clean up Berreth's blood. The former Idaho nurse also recalled that Frazee had spoken of the disposal of Berreth's charred remains in a dump, according to investigators.
Berreth was last seen alive on Thanksgiving Day. The security camera filmed her shopping in a Safeway supermarket with her 1-year-old daughter, Kaylee. Police began searching for Berreth on December 2 when her mother reported her disappearance. Police opened an extensive investigation after Berreth's phone rang in Gooding, Idaho a few days after his death.

Berreth's parents also sued Frazee for wrongful death, alleging that he had murdered their daughter in a custody battle. Frazee is the subject of two counts of murder and three counts of soliciting murder, as well as falsification of a dead body and two accomplices of conviction for violence, reported ABC 7 Denver. He will be brought before the Teller County Court on May 24 and no date has been set for the trial.
