A Florida preacher has been accused of raping two girls.
According to the Miami Herald, Yunior Beltres, 54, is charged with two counts of sexual violence against a minor. The girls are 9 and 10 years old. They reported assaults in July, claiming that they had occurred in May and June at Beltres' home in Miami.
Police said that each victim had been forced to watch the other being assaulted.
Beltres is a preacher at the Evangelical Ministry of Fire Columns. The records show that he is with the church since at least 1996. The newspaper said he was a citizen of the Dominican Republic.
A woman in the church told the Herald that the charges were false. She refused to identify herself.
Beltres was standing Saturday without engagement in a Miami-Dade County jail.
