Police ID man and woman killed when car crashed into parked dump truck

Authorities have identified the two people killed on Wednesday when their car crashed into a dump truck parked in Gloucester Township.

Daniel Hammond, 79, of Sicklerville, was driving on Berlin Cross Keys Road near Camden County Technical High School when his car hit the truck, Glocuester Township police said.

Hammond and his 78-year-old passenger Beverly Hammond, also of Sicklerville, were pronounced dead at the scene. One person in the truck was not injured. The truck was parked on the shoulder, police said.
