Police look for a suspect in the quadruple homicide in West Chester Township

WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio – Police are looking for a suspect and a homicide investigation is underway regarding the deaths of four people in a West Chester Township apartment complex, said Chief Joel Herzog.

An informant called the authorities around 10 pm On Sunday, police found the bodies in the Lakefront apartment complex in West Chester on Wyndtree Drive. The apartment complex is located on Princeton Glendale Road.

The neighbors said they heard gunshots, but Herzog said the police could not confirm that the victims had been shot. The authorities have not found a suspect after establishing a perimeter around the apartment complex early Monday morning. Investigators are now looking at a larger scale. Investigators towed two vehicles from the scene Monday morning.

Police said at midnight that there was no immediate threat to the community.

No information on the suspect or the death of the victims has been published. Police said the four victims were adults, but no other details had been disclosed.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol conducted an aerial search Sunday night. Several Butler County agencies also helped units from kindergarten to Grade 9. A spokesman said that the police had not yet "anybody of interest".
