Several motorcycle police officers were injured while participating in President Trump's motorcade Tuesday in Louisiana.
The cause of the accident was not immediately reported, but there were no serious injuries, according to the White House.
According to a first group report, four officers were reportedly injured, but a statement by White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said three people were wounded.
"Today, three local police officers were injured in an accident while traveling with the presidential motorcade," said Sanders. All three are being treated for injuries at a nearby hospital and are in stable condition. "
The aftermath of the accident was visible to reporters traveling with Trump to a liquefied natural gas export facility.
