MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) – Police released a new video Friday showing the vehicle suspected of being involved in a fatal shooting on Highway 169 in Plymouth, Minnesota, as a reward is offered in the case.
The new video shows the vehicle driving on I-694 and Highway 169 before Jay Boughton’s fatal shooting. Boughton was shot and killed while driving on 169 south of Rockford Road around 10 p.m. Tuesday.

Minnesota Crime Stoppers are offering a $ 1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever shot and killed a driver on Highway 169 Tuesday night.
Police are asking the public for help in locating the suspect they believe is driving a light-colored SUV, possibly a Chevy Tahoe, Suburban or Ford Expedition. The vehicle may have damage to the driver’s side rear bumper.

Police release new traffic camera footage of suspicious vehicle
After a press conference on Friday, the Plymouth Police Department released new videos showing the vehicle investigators are trying to find after Tuesday’s shooting.
Traffic camera videos show the vehicle before Tuesday night’s shooting. The officers too published a map showing the timing of the vehicle and the path to the shootout.
After examining traffic cameras, police said they believed the driver had entered I-694 from Snelling Avenue in Arden Hills around 9:46 p.m. Tuesday and traveled west on the way out. on Highway 169 before the shooting just after 10 p.m.
Family begs for answers after baseball coach shootout on Highway 169
Family members and police held a press conference on Friday as investigators scrambled to make an arrest in the deadly shooting on Highway 169 that killed a baseball coach.
Police are asking all drivers who have dash cams to review and who were on I-694 or Route 169 Tuesday night to review their video.
“I know a lot of drivers, a lot of us have personal dashcams, dash cams in our vehicles,” Plymouth Police Chief Erik Fadden said. “Many commercial trucking companies use them as part of their day-to-day business operations. I want to ask any person or business who may have a dash cam installed in their vehicle that they may be in the area. from I-694 or Highway 169 Tuesday night between 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. to take a few minutes to review these images and I hope you can find something that might help us in this investigation. “
Family begs anyone with information about the shooting to come forward
At Friday’s press conference, Boughton’s family also spoke up and begged anyone with information about the case to call the police.
“The world lost a truly wonderful human being on Tuesday,” Boughton’s brother-in-law Stephen Robinson said.
The family say Boughton was returning home after coaching his son’s baseball team when he was insanely shot. Police say they are still working to determine what led to Boughton’s death.
“He was murdered,” Robinson explained. “Executed for doing something that most of us do every day. Take your kid to a sporting event, a sporting event.”
“We do these things every day,” Robinson added. “This is the world we live in … Is this the world we want to pass on to our children?”
