Police release UNCC firing on suspicious mugshot

CHARLOTTE, NC (CNN) – We now have the photo of a man accused of killing two people during a shootout on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

The Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office released the mugshot of Trystan Terrell, 22 years old.

Four people were injured, three seriously, in the shooting that occurred Tuesday on the last day of classes on campus. It is still unclear whether the suspect is a student of the school and the authorities are investigating a motive.

Terrell is charged with two counts of murder, four counts of attempted murder and related counts. He is held with a deposit of $ 700,000.

Regarding the university, the closure of the entire campus was lifted Wednesday morning, but the school said that the building where the shooting took place remains closed because it is a scene of active crime.
