Police respond to reports of gunfire at Natick Hotel

NATICK – Police fell on the Crowne Plaza Hotel Tuesday morning after a bullet was fired into the lobby, causing the evacuation of more than 75 people who had sought refuge in the nearby Mall, Natick or in their car, officials said.

The victim, who was not identified, was not touched by the only shot fired by one of the suspects who were in the hall of the road 9 monument at the time of the attack, said Natick's chief of police, James G. Hicks, to the scene.
