Police say a Virginia man arrested at the DC checkpoint had a gun and high capacity magazines

Washington, DC, police arrested a 22-year-old man from Virginia near the Capitol grounds on Sunday who they said had three high-capacity magazines, a gun and 37 rounds of unregistered ammunition.

She also told the Washington Post that her nephew was a supporter of the president. She said he “always carried his gun” and that he “was one of those open-ended people”.
