Jessica Nicole Stevenson, 33, of Milton, Panhandle, Fla., Was arrested on May 3rd, two weeks after a primary school worker claimed that Stevenson's sophomore Wore the same clothes at school for a week, court papers filed by Santa Rosa County. Sheriff's Office read.
The school employee made this allegation on April 18 to a sheriff's deputy, who investigated.

That night, a sheriff's deputy visited the family home where Stevenson and his five children aged 5 to 14 lived.
The investigation report indicates that the house was infested with roaches and extremely dirty.
"Cockroaches were present on almost every surface of the house, to be included on children's mattresses, in pots and pans in the kitchen and in cabinets / refrigerators," the report says.
Stacks of cat stools were "all over the floor" and the cupboards had no food, according to the report.
"There was no clean clothes in the house, with the exception of a few items between the older children and the mother," the report says.
The school worker said that she had alerted the Florida Department of Children and Families to the family early in the school year. The DCF visited the house "but determined that it did not meet their removal criteria," reads in the Sheriff's investigation report.
Stevenson was charged with five counts of neglect of a child without significant bodily injury, a third-degree crime. If found guilty of all counts, she could be sentenced to up to 25 years in prison.
After the bond was set at $ 12,500, Stevenson was released on May 4 after paying or promising to pay 10 percent, according to court documents.
Stevenson says that she has never neglected her children
CNN's attempts to join Stevenson on Saturday for comments Saturday were not immediately successful. Stevenson said she wanted a public defender to represent her, according to court documents.
The county court clerk's office does not list any lawyer for it. An appeal to the office of the Santa Rosa County Public Defender was not immediately returned.
She said that she is single and has little income.
"It's just not easy when you're a person and five kids, I want to do better and I try," Stevenson told WEAR.
In order to be released pending trial, a judge ordered him not to have contact with his children and not to drink alcohol.
It was not clear right away where the children were after Stevenson's bail.
She told WEAR that her house had cockroaches, but she hopes to solve this problem soon.
"We have cockroaches, and people will tell me all the time, everyone in Florida has cockroaches," Stevenson told WEAR.
She is due to appear on May 30 at the Santa Rosa County Court House in Milton, according to the Clerk's office.
