Four men and the boy were shot dead near the Barry Farm Recreation Center at around 2:30 pm, police said. The men and the boy are conscious and breathe. They were taken to the hospital.
Later on Monday police said the boy and three of the men had been treated for life-threatening injuries. But a man had wounds putting his life in danger.
The police are looking for a suspicious gray or silver vehicle that has run from Sumner Road to Martin Luther King Avenue Southeast.
