BOSTON (AP) – A body has been found and a suspect is in custody in the case of a 23-year-old woman who disappeared into a Boston nightclub last weekend.
Boston police announced Thursday that Louis D. Coleman III had been arrested in Delaware. The department said it was waiting for "positive identification" of the dead body that was also found.
According to the WBZ-TV channel, Jassy Correia's family in Boston confirmed that his body was found in the trunk of Coleman's car after a lawsuit in Delaware.
Coleman had been wanted for the disappearance of Correia, who disappeared after leaving the Venu nightclub in downtown Boston on Sunday night.
Police had set up a crime scene near Coleman's home in Providence, Rhode Island, earlier Thursday, and Correia's father asked anyone with information about where his daughter was at authorities.
