TOWNSHIP OF DELTA, Mich. – The authorities have released the names of two women who were found beaten to death after a man showed the police photos taken on cell phones during a roadside check in Michigan.
The Ingham County Sheriff's Office announced Saturday that the victims were Kaylee Ann Brock (Holt), 26, and Julie Ann Mooney, 32, of Williamston. Police found their bodies Friday in separate communities near Lansing.
A 26-year-old man from Delta Township should be brought to court in the coming days.
The authorities claim that he was arrested on Friday after a stoppage of traffic on Interstate 69. Police began looking for him after an old girlfriend reported that he was raping a personal protection order by knocking on his door and sending disturbing text messages. She is not one of the victims.
