Apple’s new Mac M1 lineup, but as we approach a year since those first computers were unveiled, what are you most looking forward to in your next MacBook? Go below to let us know in a survey …

Two of the main features of Mac M1 are as follows: They are all very powerful and have a long battery life. In fact, Apple was so impressed with the Mac M1’s battery that engineers thought it was a bug.

For M1X and M2 chips, of course, users expect nothing less than a powerful machine with massive battery life, but there’s room for improvement as well. What is the feature you most expect in your next MacBook?

A new conception: Apple is expected to introduce two new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros later this year. According to reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the new chassis design would feature square sides in the top and bottom halves of the machine, joining the flat-edge design trend started with the 2018 iPad Pro and adopted in the 2020 iPhone 12 series.

A new screen: Along with a redesigned body, Apple reportedly introduced a mini LED display on the MacBook Pro, similar to what the company did with the iPad Pro M1. With this technology, Apple will be able to bring even more realistic colors and a higher peak brightness, which is ideal for video and photo editors.

More ports and MagSafe: Bloomberg and Kuo both said Apple will bring back more ports on the MacBook Pro, which means: HDMI, SD slot, Ethernet, and a new MagSafe connector.

More color options: Leaker DylanDkt believes Apple will introduce a colorful MacBook Air in 2022, similar to what the company is doing with the 24-inch iMac. You can take a look at the concept of 9to5Mac Parker Ortolani here.

Superior specifications: The new M1X chip would bring up to 64 GB of RAM. Bloomberg reported that Apple is planning two different chips, named Jade C-Chop and Jade C-Die: both include eight high-performance cores and two power-efficient cores for a total of 10, but will come in 16 or 32 graphics-core variants .

Best FaceTime Camera: A new rumor published by leaker DylanDkt says that all new Macs will be equipped with a 1080p camera. Since MacBooks webcams are for the most part the only thing that hasn’t evolved this whole year, that would be a big improvement for those who live in Zoom and Teams calls.

Of all these features, which are the ones you most expect in your next MacBook? Vote in the poll and tell us in the comment section below.
