As we reported yesterday, there is a lot to look forward to in the Mac lineup this year as Apple moves to Apple Silicon processors. Ranging from a brand-new iMac to the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, Apple will be expanding Apple Silicon processors significantly this year. Which new Mac are you most excited to try?

Apple Silicon Macs yet to come

As we detailed yesterday in our full coverage, Apple still has a host of new Macs coming with Apple Silicon inside. These include a brand new iMac with a redesigned form factor, new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, and a new Mac Pro that is about half the size of the current model.

Apple has recognized that it will take around two years to transition the entire Mac lineup to Apple Silicon chips, which puts the end of transition timeline to 2022. We expect the aforementioned Macs to be slowly introduced over the next two years until the transition is complete.

Personally, I am absolutely delighted to see the all new iMac. The iMac is my favorite Mac thanks to its transparent all-in-one design, and I can’t wait to see its brand new design. While the current iMac still looks good, it’s too late for a redesign, as well as the extra performance benefits that will come with the Apple Silicon transition.

That being said, I’m also intrigued by the rumors of a cheaper external display and a half-size Mac mini from Apple. It’s unclear if these new products will arrive in 2021 or maybe 2022, but I had been hoping for a cheaper Apple external display since the Thunderbolt display was discontinued in 2016.

And you? Which new Mac Apple Silicon are you most excited to see? Let us know in the poll below and elaborate in the comments!
