Trump later said that Tillerson was "stupid like a rock".

Pompeo made the remarks Monday in Kansas, where he sat in Congress from 2011 to 2017. The former CIA director ruled out speculation last month that he would run for the Kansas Senate in 2020, saying at NBC News that he loved being Secretary of State and will do it as long as Trump wants it.
