Porsche Motorsport celebrates Manthey Racing’s 25th anniversary with the unveiling of the jointly developed 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25.

Limited to just 30 units, the model is based on the 911 GT2 RS Clubsport and is designed for track days as well as circuit racing.

The model is inspired by Manthey’s 911 GT3 R, known as the Grello because of its distinctive green and yellow livery. This color scheme echoes the 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25 as there are yellow-green accents on the air intakes as well as the 18-inch central locking wheels.

Of course, the Special Edition is much more than a paint job as it features a redesigned front end with a rectangular appearance. The model was also fitted with eye-catching headlights, cops and a unique carbon fiber hood with a centrally positioned NACA duct as well as two large air vents. Porsche said the new cooling concept allows them to do away with wheel arch radiators and improve direct airflow to the front brakes.

The model also incorporates elements of the 935 Clubsport, which was introduced in 2018. They are joined by a much wider track and a unique rear spoiler with new side plates as well as gooseneck support brackets for a ‘ uninterrupted flow ”.

Speaking of the rear, it features a lot of carbon fiber thanks to an optimized diffuser and new vents. The model also sports a special dual exhaust system with distinctive tailpipes.

The interior largely mirrors that of the 911 GT2 RS Clubsport and includes a welded roll cage as well as a special badge that “expresses limited edition status”.

The motivation comes from a 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine that produces 690 hp (515 kW / 700 PS). It is connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, which sends power to the rear wheels.

According to Matthias Scholz of Porsche, director of GT Racing Cars, “The 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25 benefits from the racing experience that Manthey and Porsche Motorsport have gained around the world. It’s the perfect circuit racing car for ambitious private drivers, and it’s an impressive example of engineering skills.
