Porsche Unveils Killer Electric Van Concept – Dope Or Not?

Porsche has unveiled a series of concept vehicles that it has killed off over the years, including a new concept electric van.

The German automaker today released a new concept series called “Porsche Unseen”:

“Under the title ‘Porsche Unseen’, Porsche is publishing for the first time design studies from 2005 to 2019 which have so far been kept under lock and key. The sports car maker shows spectacular visions of 15 different cars. In this way, Porsche offers exclusive insight into its design process – from the very first drawing to the finished model ready for series production.

Concept vehicles unveiled today included an electric van called “Renndienst”.

It was made in 2018, but Porsche killed it before they unveiled it, and it’s only now posting concept images:

Here’s what Porsche had to say about the never-before-seen concept:

the Vision Porsche “Racing Service” (2018; hard model 1: 1) is the free interpretation of a family space concept that can accommodate up to six people. The design team has designed a futuristic “space shuttle” of exciting proportions. The study shows how the DNA of Porsche design with its characteristic surface modeling can be transferred to a vehicle segment unknown to the brand. Inside, passengers find a comfortable and flexible travel cabin. The driver is seated in a central driver’s seat. The fully electric drive technology is located in the underbody. As a result, passengers can enjoy an incredibly generous space and travel experience, combined with Porsche style.

Unfortunately, they haven’t posted any photos of the seemingly spacious interior.

Personally, I like the look of the concept, but I don’t think it’s a Porsche design.

Like, would you really see it in the Porsche lineup?

I wouldn’t, but I could see it in other Volkswagen brands. Maybe they could recycle that? What do you think?
