If your confidence in the official Android apps store was already low due to the latest news revealing the number of malicious apps existing, this trust will likely decrease further.
Lukas Stefanko, ESET researcher, has revealed the existence of 18 security applications that do nothing! If you have one of these applications installed, delete them already.
According to the ESET investigator, there are 18 fake antivirus available on the Google Play Store. According to what has been revealed, these applications have already been installed more than 790,000 times, but in practice they do not guarantee any security for the system.
The fake Antivirus name appears in the next image.
If you have already installed one of these applications, you must delete them urgently. To do this, just go to the Definitions>Application Manager, select the application / game and delete it.
If you are an Android user, we warn you once again to install "no name" applications, although they are available on the official Google Apps Store.
