Sea of Thieves is available in Maro's stores, for Windows 10 and Xbox One, and is a live game that Rare Studios will continue to support over the next few months.
Craig Duncan, Rare Director, and Mike Chapman, Director of Design, confirmed that there are three major Sea of Thieves updates that will be released during the remainder of 2018.
In a conversation with IGN, Duncan and Chapman confirmed that after The Deep Hungering, available, The Thieves' Sea can wait for the Cursed Veil, which will be the next major update
The Cursed Sails arrive at the Sea Thieves even in July and until the end of 2018 are expected two more important updates.
Duncan explains that the goal is to publish regular and smooth content, stating that there are more people working at Sea of Thieves at that time than at launch.
