The African Development Bank (AfDB) announced Wednesday the granting of a 20 million euro loan to Cape Verde to finance the first phase of the private sector competitiveness program and of Local Economic Development
. This program aims to stimulate the private sector and local entities in this country, so that they can contribute more to economic growth and job creation.
"The African Development Bank is active in Cape Verde, and the government has invested heavily in the country's infrastructure in recent years, and the challenge now is to enable the private sector to use it for growth, the creation of 39, jobs and poverty reduction, "he added.
