At this point, in 2018, no one should know that Facebook is not an example of users' privacy. After the episode Cambridge Analytica, a number of stories have emerged on Zuckerberg's network, including possible spying of users by a microphone to display more effective advertisements.
It has now been discovered that some Samsung smartphones do not properly treat business ecosystem applications in an Android Oreo security feature that alerts users when sensitive permissions are being used. The newest feature of Google's most recent stable system allows programs to display a notification when a camera, microphone or other devices are used.
But Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp do not appear in the service. Some people think that's because in some Galaxy some of these applications are pre-installed and are recognized as system programs. However, this would not justify the absence of the social network of photos and the green messenger in the resource monitoring service.
We do not know if this problem is a simple failure on the part of Samsung or a problem created by Mark Zuckerberg. It is a fact that the statement of the question only reinforces the discourse that the blue social network is somewhat vague as to respect for the privacy of users, possibly bypassing a system which checks the features of the smartphone
According to Android Central, the problem was detected in a Galaxy S9 tested by the portal, and until now neither Samsung nor Facebook have talked about the issue.
