The Huawei Mate series will be updated in a few months. After some information earlier this year confirmed that Huawei will also spend 10 to 20 in the numbering of the next Mate smartphones, it is already known more news.
As they remember the Mate range last year had a Lite variant. This year we can have, not one, but two Lite variants.
The information is not yet confirmed, comes from the leak of Roland Quandt. In a tweet, he mentions that the Mate 20 Lite has code name "Sydney", but there are (at least) two variants. One is the "Sydney M" and the other the "Sydney I".
Huawei Mate 20 Lite is code-named "Sydney". There seem to be two variants: Sydney M + Sydney I. Here are some speculations from me: Why would there be different accessories for the same model? Hole for the FP player on the back against In the hole for FP player on the back = In FP screen?

Judging by the rest tweet, it seems that the accessories in both devices are different and specifically the cover. One has a cutout on the back for a fingerprint reader and the other one does not. This may imply that the second device must have the biometric sensor built into the screen.
However, a fingerprint reader on the Mate 20 Lite screen seems improbable and perhaps it is placed on the front. there is no more specification for the moment, but there is certainty. The Mate 20 Lite processor will certainly be the new Kirin 710 processor.
