How to Unlock Ray and Mighty

Step 2. Choose Encore Mode;

Step 3. Go to the "New" option;

Step 4. Begin the game normally and follow the path of the phase until you find the pair. Climb into the capsule where they are;

Step 5. Now choose between Ray or Mighty. The choice can be changed later;

There is no point in starting a new game in other modes, because Ray and Mighty are only enabled after switching to Encore mode.

Ray is a character inspired by flying squirrels. Your skills are therefore very characteristic in this regard. By jumping and holding the jump button once more, Ray can float for a few seconds in the air, escape the dangers and advance more easily into the phase. You have to be careful, because if it touches an enemy, it suffers automatic damage.

Mighty is similar to an armadillo and can attack from above with a heavy assault. Jump and press the jump button again so that it falls violently. But do not try to do it over thorns or against enemies who inflict automatic damage, such as electrical damage or thorny protection – try to go easy on the targets. Powerful can also destroy the rocks with this power and break the paths on the ground.

It's worth remembering that in Encore mode, it's possible to play with "four lives" if you find Mighty, Sonic, Tails or Ray boxes along the way. So the game becomes even easier. To switch between characters, press X on the switch, triangle on the PS4 or Y on the Xbox controller – also works for PC.
