The Small Luxury Hotels of the World ™ (SLH), a brand representing small luxury and independent hotels, announce today the appointment of Jean-François Ferret as General Manager.
From London, Jean-François Ferret will assume the new role in September, taking over responsibility for SLH's international teams and leading the strategic direction of the brand's luxury portfolio representing more than 500 hotels, present in more than 80 countries.
For more than six years, Jean-François Ferret has been the CEO of the French Relais & Châteaux association. Throughout his tenure, he has significantly increased brand recognition, international sales and developed a new digital platform. Previously, Jean-François Ferret was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Hertz France and previously Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Manpower France.
With more than 30 years of experience, Jean-François Ferret has performed related duties. American Travel Travel (France), Managing Director of Thomas Cook (France), Senior Vice President of Thomas Cook (Western Europe) and Chief Financial Officer of Compass Group (Europe)
Jean-François Ferret will replace Filip Boyen, who resigned from the SLH after three years.
