OFFICIAL: River-Boca will not play in Argentina

It's official. River Plate-Boca Juniors, coming from the return leg of the Copa Libertadores final, will not play in Argentina.

After stoning the bus with the entourage of Boca near Estadio Monumental last Saturday, it caused two successive postponements of the "superclassic" who decides the title of continental champion, the presidents of the two Argentine clubs and of The South American confederation of (CONMEBOL) met today in Asunción, Paraguay, to reach an agreement on how the decision game will be played.

In a statement published a few moments ago, CONMEBOL said that River and Boca would play on December 8 and 9 in a place to be defined, stating that it would not be on Argentine soil. The confederation ensures the security conditions and the movement of the respective committees.

Although this is not official, the presence of the President of the Paraguayan Football Federation at the meeting indicates, according to the Argentine press, that the match will be played in the neighboring country.

It should be noted that in the first leg in Bombonera, home of Boca, the rivals scored two goals.
