The general shareholders' meeting of Herdade da Comporta on Tuesday approved the sale of real estate assets to the Amorim / Vanguard consortium, said the group's source in Lusa. On October 28, Gesfimo, the management entity of Herdade da Comporta, signed a "promise to buy and sell" the property with the Amorim / Vanguard consortium.

The Amorim / Vanguard consortium will be the only one submitting a proposal to buy Herdade da Comporta on September 20th. On the contrary, the alliance Victor de Broglie and Global Asset Capital (GAC) have not made progress, as she had suggested.
The Oakvest, Portugália and Sabina groups, who had won a call for tenders launched in May, had already announced that they were not available to participate in this new procedure.
The sale of Herdade da Comporta, in the counties of Alcácer do Sal and Grândola, was decided about three years ago, after the financial collapse of the group GES – Espírito Santo.
Herdade da Comporta was already part of the Companhia das Lezírias do Tejo and Sado and was sold to the British company The Atlantic Company in 1925, then bought in 1955 by the Espírito Santo family.
