At IFA 2018, Sony unveiled its latest high-end Xperia XZ3, still conforming to the launch model every six months. The model did not bring as many changes as its predecessor, where the main differential was due to the curved OLED screen on the sides, arrived for the first time in a model from the Xperia series. Now we are starting to see the first rumors about the XZ4.
That's because a 360-degree rendering of what Xperia XZ4 was released, revealed by the famous leak expert @OnLeaks in partnership with MySmartPrice. In the images, we see a very different design compared to the XZ3. The screen no longer seems to be curved and fortunately there is a notch at the top of the screen that should appeal to many people. On the other hand, there are edges, but extremely thin, indicating a good use of the front.
Here we see that it should keep the 18: 9 screen, but with a 6.5-inch screen measuring 166.9 x 72.4 x 8.2 m. For comparison, the iPhone XS Max, which also has a panel of this size, measures 157.5 x 77.4 x 7.7 mm. Plus, there should be only one photo sensor before.
At the back, the Xperia XZ4 should have three centralized cameras distributed vertically, but without much detail about the functions of each one of them. The fingerprint reader has been moved to the side where the power button is located. There is always the volume and a shutter of the camera.
At the bottom is a USB Type-C port and a large speaker port, while the SIM card tray has been moved up. Finally, Sony should not include a 3.5mm headphone jack on the Xperia XZ4. Unfortunately, there is more information, we expect other leaks. Rumors report its launch at Mobile World Congress 2019.
