The arrest concerns the death of a soldier on September 21 in the command regiment, victim of a gunshot. Initially, it had been reported to the family that it was a suicide.
The detainee will be present at the judicial interrogation Thursday to enforce coercive measures, said the PJM, who proceeded to arrest on the order of the Attorney General of Sintra.
According to the PJM public relations officer, the soldier was reportedly arrested in the command regiment at the Carregueira barracks in Sintra.
The "alleged homicide" occurred on September 21. This regiment, at 19:42, announced the same day the army, which called the place to the PJM and the PSP.
