This is an additional measure to encourage the purchase of the XS, XS Max and XR models, which do not seem to have the expected success.
Not everything will be all right in Apple's "toy city", at least for finding the latest iPhone concerns. After the announcement of the reduction in production of XR a few days ago, it was the same for the high XS and XS Max. Meanwhile, the apple brand has "tweaked" its commercial program and has continued to pay more for "old" phones.
Under the new name of GiveBack since April this year, the initiative is used to "recycle" the company's devices, offering a predefined amount depending on the model delivered, which is shot down when buying one of the last devices.
The program, available on a limited number of markets – of which Portugal is not part – now offers new values of up to USD 100 more, sometimes doubling "discounts", such as the iPhone 6. Plus and iPhone 6s.
According to information provided by Apple on the recycling program page, this initiative has a limited duration.
