The Judicial Police (PJ) announced Wednesday the arrest of a 28-year-old man suspected of raping, kidnapping and assaulting a 21-year-old girl in Braga in September.
In a statement, the PJ states that the detainee is a foreigner and that he has already been brought before a court for a first judicial interrogation.
He was subjected to coercive measures of daily presentations, a ban on contact with the victim, a ban on night entertainment and a ban on the country's absence.
He is charged with the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of rape, sexual coercion, kidnapping and physical offense.
The events occurred in the early hours of September 27, near the University of Minho, near the bars.
