This involved notable improvements in four areas, namely suspension, weight, construction and the link between appearance and aerodynamics.

This very special GT R receives a "coilover" suspension, with several modifications coming from the competition world, thus making it possible to further personalize the behavior of springs and dampers. The GT R Pro has a separately defined compression ratio for low and high speed movements and uses adjustable stabilizer bars, carbon fiber front and rear carbon fiber.

One of the reasons for the weight reduction of this Mercedes AMG GT specially adapted for circuit driving is the braking system based on ceramic compounds, which, to accentuate its exclusivity, combines the black paint with the " lettring "in white. But the biggest contributors to the lightening of the GT R Pro are the carbon packets I and II. After all, one can almost say that the hardest part is finding a part of the outside that is not carbon fiber.

As mentioned, there is a link between the aesthetic changes and the aerodynamic efficiency of the model. In other words, in addition to being more aggressive in the image, the Mercedes AMG GT R Pro is even more effective against the wind. The signs of this improved aerodynamic performance begin to appear just ahead, with a wider separator flanked by two-bladed aprons. The active aerodynamics of the rear of the car is combined with the AIRPANEL pneumatic control system, while at the rear we have a new aerodynamic profile that works in conjunction with the gurney flap (the small tailgate extension) for further create the rear axle.
