Guarujá leads joint action against Aedes aegypti mosquito

The city of Guaruja will organize a mega task force against diseases caused by the Aedes aegypti mosquito, such as dengue, zikas and chikungunya. The action, known as "Dia D" – National Arbovirosis Day – will serve to alert and educate the public about the prevention of these diseases.

According to the municipality, about 200 people will participate in the joint effort, among community health workers, endemic control agents and other agents.

The mobilization began last Monday (26) with Arboviroses Week. During this period, the Health Secretariat intensified the visits of the endemic control officers and community health workers, which also prompted the public to do their part, inspecting their homes, searching for mosquito larvae and eliminating possible outbreaks. . Other municipal secretariats participated in the action by conducting parallel activities.

The concentration for the "D-day", this Friday (30), will take place from 8:30 am, at 14 Bis, in Vicente de Carvalho.
