Today (29th) takes place the Integrity Day of Italian companies, for the first time on the Brazilian territory. TIM, which has the 5G prototype in test phase, took advantage of the event to present its program of integrity and compliance (set of disciplines to enforce legal and regulatory standards). The event is an initiative of the Anti-Corruption Coordination of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy and also has the participation of the well-known anti-corruption and anti-corruption association.

TIM participated in the Congress alongside Italian compatriots such as ENEL, Terna, Pirelli and Rina. Piero Formica, director of compliance at TIM, will participate in a round table to discuss anti-corruption measures of the operator. Based on the code of ethics, the anti-corruption policy and the guidelines of the organizational model, this process was adopted in 2014.

In order for us to have autonomy at work, TIM's compliance department responds directly to the board of directors, but for us, independence and distance are two different things. Although we answer only to the Council, it is very important to be close to the business areas and people

Said Formica.

The program that supports compliance issues has about 50 agents. All have the mission to point out in their respective fields the actions that would be essential for risk prevention.
