According to the report, the company has an employee service responsible for analyzing and listening to Skype calls, where they identify and transcribe user conversations under the pretext of improving the translations.

Although it is stipulated that calls may be subject to review by Microsoft, customers were not aware that their calls were not only analyzed by artificial intelligence but also by human intelligence.

Microsoft acknowledged these tapping in a statement sent to Vice. "We collect and analyze voice and call order data to improve search and translation services," the company said.
