A slip followed by a collision keeps the section between the Paredes and Baltar nodes of the A4 completely closed this Thursday night. The accident occurred a few minutes after 8 pm and since then motorists heading to Vila Real – Porto are forced to abandon the highway at Paredes.
A man had to leave the hospital and was transported to São João Hospital, in Porto, with injuries considered serious.
According to the JN, a Mazda car was driving towards Porto when, when leaving Baltar / Parada, it was out of control, it went out of control and hit another car. The shock was spectacular and left all the lanes of this highway filled with debris, which soon forced the traffic to stop Paredes.
Paredes' volunteer firefighters moved five vehicles to the area, including the car de décarcéramento, which had to be used to remove the driver from the inside of the car accident. He was also attended on site by the fire department and the emergency medical team, then taken to hospital with serious injuries.
