The Municipal Health Secretariat (SMS) of Três Lagoas, through the Municipal STI / HIV / AIDS Program (Sexually Transmitted Infections, Human Immunodeficiency Virus and AIDS), as part of a joint action with the City Council, invites health professionals and the general population to participate in actions, referring to World AIDS Day.
According to the schedule of actions, a mini-course on rapid tests for academics and health professionals will be organized from 8:00 to 11:00 in the plenary room of the municipality of Três Lagoas, which will be given by the nurse. Master, Jesse Milanez dos Santos. In the afternoon, there will be hands-on training on quick tests.
Also on the floor of the plenary session of the town hall, on Friday evening (30), from 19h, will be presented by Moyses Longuinho Toniolo de Souza (Bahia) on the theme "Where are we and what are we facing the AIDS?" .
On Saturday, December 1, World AIDS Day, activities will be organized, in particular for the public, in Senator Ramez Tebet's square, from 7:30 am to 11:30 pm
In this action, with all the team of professionals of the municipal program STI / HIV / AIDS, coordinated by the psychologist Susie Donero, in addition to the distribution of condoms and information material, rapid tests (screening HIV) will be performed.
The action program will continue Monday (3), from 8 am to 1 pm, in the plenary room of City Hall, where a training course on post exposure prophylaxis (PEP) will be organized.
This training concerns health professionals, medical infectiologists, Francielle Garcia Nascimento and Renata Congro Leal.
